Differences between models and years

Each years, starting of 1990 to 1993 the second generation Acura Integra have gained some aesthetics and technicals differences. In this section i will explain you each difference and perhaps learn you how to recognise the year at first look and at the same time know what is under the hood.

Take note that all differences described below are for the 3 doors Integra model.

Differences between years
1990
There is a sticker "integra" between the tail lights.

The trim level emblem is bigger.
1990-1991
The tail lights have 2 colors. Red and white.

The steering have 3 branch.

The aluminium alloy wheels are flat and got fives opening in shapes of triangles.

The front bumper is different: Flashers are rectangulars and it have openings under them.
1992-1993
The tail lights have 3 colors. The flashers are orange instead of reflecting orange in white lens.

The steering have 4 branch.

6 spokes 14" Acura aluminium alloy wheels.

The motor is a bit more powerful in horsepower.

The GS-R model is now available. (Grand Sport - Race)

The front bumper is different: Flashers are lightly bigger and in a shape of trapeze.

Engine type: 1.7 L, In-Line 4, DOHC, 16 valves (B17A1)

Torque: 117 @ 7000 rpm

Horsepower: 160 @ 7600 rpm
